I was bought a new mother-board of Epox 8k3a+ and Althon XP 1800+.
But the CPU was death after run a night on Windows XP. Before the CPU death, I can saw the bios shown CPU temp is near 70 C. I need somebody help...
No overclock, I am using the original cooling fan. And good operation.
Finally the CPU was death. I was changed the new CPU four times ago...
Do u think is it the power-suppy ,mother-board or another hardware have problem right..???

I EVEN HAD THIS PROBLEM~~~~
I HELPED MY FRIEND TO MAKE A NEW COMPUTER~~~
AND FIRST TIME I USE THE AMD ALTHON 1800+
SO I DON'T USE THE polysynthetic thermal compound (散熱膏)BETWEEN THE CPU & FAN~~~
SO THE CPU'S TEMPERATURE IS UP TO 70/C~~~
AND EVERYTHING IS DEAD~~~~
SO I BOUGHT A PACK OF polysynthetic thermal compound AND USE IT ON CPU~~~~~
OH~~~EVERYTHING IS PERFECT~~~
SO ~~~~IF YOU DON'T USE IT ~~~MAYBE YOU CAN TRY MY WAY~~~
