Currently on the market, most of the boards comes with VIA KT133 series of chipset, and right now, there are also smaller amounts of AMD 761 chipsets on the market. SIS is also pushing it's chipset at this moment. I would say the KT133 and 761series are more fitter to run at this moment.
and no, slot A uses AMD 760 and VIA KX133.
