this 40x12x48 cd-writer can be overclocked to 48x12x48 (LTR-48125W) and finally with [Mt. Rainier] feature too !!! great value....
this cd-writer is great for the latest features of (1) P-CAV and (2) [Mt. Rainier]

LTR-40125W = P-CAV (WS03), production date 2002.04 onward
LTR-40125S = Z-CLV, production date before 2002.04 ???
LTR-40125W (P-CAV) to LTR-48125W = possible (mediatek chipset)
LTR-40125S (Z-CLV) to LTR-48125W = not sure (mediatek chipset + P-CAV)
LTR-32125W (P-CAV) to LTR-48125W = possible (mediatek chipset)
"5W" is the same series for 48125W/40125W/32125W - support [safedisc2.51] and not be able to overclocked to 48126W (due to "6W")
*note* upgrade your NERO to v5.5.8.2 for support of LTR-48125W !!!
