Well... the top end of WD (1200BB) is the best among other IDE hard drive in my opinion. You might want to check it out, it won't let jo down

forgot to mention that WD also sells 7200 rpm IDE hard drive model with 8 mb cach follow by the #_JB. Heared that it performs very close to scsi but the damn price tag is way too high

I using WD 80G 8MB buffer. It is hot, but not hot than IBM.
My IBM hard disk just died.
I living in Chicago I hate hard disk They always damage, before you back-up your data
